Business & Systems Support

Birmingham, Alabama

I work between the people who use a system and the people who build it — documenting how a process actually runs, testing that a tool does what it is supposed to do, and helping the people who depend on it when something goes wrong.

What I do

Document how the work actually happens

Sitting with the people doing a job, mapping each step and decision point, and writing it down clearly enough that someone else can follow it without being walked through it.

Test before it reaches everyone

Checking new features and tools against what was actually asked for, finding where they fall short, and reporting the gap plainly before it becomes someone else's problem.

Support the people using it

Being the person others come to when a system misbehaves — diagnosing the issue, resolving it or escalating it, and making sure the fix is understood, not just applied.

Move paper processes into working systems

Replacing manual, paper-based operations with digital workflows — forms, records, payments, and the connections between them.
